Responsibilities:

* Provide expert care to patients with palliative needs, including physical, psycho-social, and technical aspects
* Lead in a specific area of ward practice, making recommendations, coordinating projects, and developing practice guidelines and policies
* Act as a clinical role model, demonstrating expertise in assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of direct care
* Promote effective communication with medical staff and members of the multi-disciplinary team
* Provide clinical direction and support to junior colleagues

Requirements:

* Relevant specialist training in cancer care or palliative care
* Experience in palliative care
* Band 6 experience
