We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Prestige Nursing & Care. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication management, and emotional support.
- Assist with domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in care and support.
- 6 months' paid experience in care (preferably in a similar role) or willingness to undergo training and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Caring, resilient, and committed to delivering high-quality care and support.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for business use.
- Good professional and personal references, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.20 (Monday to Friday) and £15.82 (weekends), with mileage reimbursement at 45p per mile.
- A comprehensive training program, including paid training at the National Minimum Wage rate.
