We are seeking an experienced Programme Engineering Manager to lead our Global Sensors and Weapons team in delivering class-leading new and upgraded systems to a global customer base.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead a multi-disciplined team of technical experts in the development and delivery of global sensors and weapons products and services.
- Develop and coordinate engineering development plans, execution against Raytheon's standards and gating model, and alignment to the overall Programme's needs.
- Manage work packages, including planning, tracking, and reporting of key performance indicators for the work to be performed.
- Act as the external technical first point of contact and liaison for key internal and external customer organisations.
- Closely liaise with Design Authority to ensure technical integrity of programmes.
- Manage risk and change for all engineering deliverables, including effective planning, mitigations, and monitoring to reduce risk or closure.
- Manage programme baseline schedule and costs, using 'earned value' techniques.
- Direct and indirect team management across disciplines, including resource planning, performance goal setting, reward, recognition, and timesheets.
- Proven expertise in managing delivery of complex multi-disciplined development programmes.
- Extensive experience in systems engineering and guidance of multidiscipline, high-performance teams through engineering development cycle.
- Clear understanding of financial management and impacts on programmes.
- Demonstrated competency for strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management.
- Knowledge of software development and delivery methodologies.
- BSc/BEng in Engineering, Science, or Aeronautical Engineering.
