Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and analyze the evolving SSN-AUKUS Submarine design to ensure safety, operability, and crew habitability. This involves participation in design reviews, examination of 3D CAD models, assessment of design documentation, and involvement in experimental design and user trials, while providing design guidance and sharing specialized knowledge. Deliver expert support for safety initiatives such as HAZID, HAZOPS, and ALARP Optioneering workshops. Assist the Operating Documentation Production Authority in the derivation and verification of operational documentation. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in relevant disciplines (Astute preferred): CAT B/C Ships Platform Systems operator/maintainer with appropriate qualifications. Comprehensive knowledge across disciplines such as Platform systems, Electrical Generation & Distribution, and Whole Boat Activities. Familiarity with manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and testing processes utilized within the industry. Basic understanding of environmental challenges that the product may encounter. Proficiency in specialized analysis tools and knowledge of relevant engineering standards, including safety and environmental regulations. Benefits:

The Operability Team:
