Job Title: Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our team at TLP Consultancy. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional Scrum team and coaching them in agile principles and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 8 direct reports, including Front End, Back End, QA, and BA engineers
  • Coach and mentor team members in agile principles and engineering best practices
  • Enable the delivery of high-quality software products built on the Azure cloud platform
  • Collaborate with a Senior Solutions Architect and a Senior Product Manager to drive business value and technical excellence

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly experienced team and contribute to the success of our clients. You will have the chance to work on a variety of systems and technologies, including MS Azure, Data Factory, Data Flow, Databricks, Azure SQL, Elastic Search, and Synapse.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in agile software engineering
  • Strong background in MS Azure, Data Engineering, and Cloud Solutions
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with 3 days a week onsite at Toyota's EcoHQ in Epsom, Surrey
