About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe. As a key member of our IT transformation programme, you will play a vital role in delivering a suite of enterprise-wide applications, including MTech, Innova, and SAP.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyse and define business reporting requirements, gathering a deep understanding of systems used and processes followed. Based on this analysis, you will develop project documentation that forms the basis of development, which you will complete using Qlik products and SQL.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will also provide secondary-level support to internal customers on existing or new reporting solutions, as well as assist in the support of Qlik installations.

Central to this role is the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with key business users across all divisions within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake analysis and reporting development work, including analysis, design, systems development, understanding and matching user requirements, implementing, support, and maintaining, related to existing and new reporting requirements, processes, and procedures.
  • Perform user support functions for all corporate reporting where applicable.
  • Develop functional design, systems specification, testing, and implementation plans for reporting requests.
  • All aspects of business systems/reporting development, including:
  • o Business process and systems analysis
  • o Internal customer interfacing
  • o Consultancy and user support
  • o Business reporting development and exploitation
  • Liaise with the IT team.
  • Liaise with IT software development teams with new development specifications.
  • Maintain open liaison with ERP supplier representatives and support desks.
  • Work with colleagues within IT at Pilgrim's Pride to build out an SAP reporting skillset that benefits the Pilgrims European businesses.
  • To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business, e.g. reduction of waste, recycling, etc.
  • Any other reasonable duties as may be required.

Requirements

  • Strong academic background and a working history that demonstrates relevant technical expertise and analytical/problem-solving ability required within business information system reporting and delivery.
  • Proven track record in development and delivery of effective corporate reporting and related business system tools; typically a minimum 3 years' work experience is expected to demonstrate the depth and breadth of technical skills and understanding of business reporting tools required.
  • Extensive knowledge of Qlik or equivalent BI products (PowerBI, Tableau) and demonstrable track record in reporting development using the product.
  • Experience dealing with internal customers at all business levels.
  • Experience working within an ERP or large business installation environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent written English skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
  • Ability to work in and help develop a team approach.
  • Enthusiastic attitude to this type of project work.
