The Role:

We are in search of a skilled and imaginative Multimedia Content Creator to enhance our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the post-production phase, converting raw footage into captivating and engaging videos tailored for social media and YouTube platforms. Your sharp attention to detail and storytelling ability through editing will be essential in delivering high-quality, eye-catching video content to our diverse audience.

We value creativity and are looking for someone who is passionate about their work and eager to contribute innovative ideas that elevate our video production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit weekly podcast episodes, utilizing multiple camera angles and audio channels to create polished and engaging video content.
  • Assemble recorded footage, incorporating special effects, graphics, and sound, while refining the final video output.
  • Collaborate on edits for our YouTube Clips channels and social media assets when not focused on podcast editing.
  • Incorporate feedback from senior team members swiftly and effectively during the editing process.
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during editing.
  • Manage various projects simultaneously, consistently meeting tight deadlines while exceeding expectations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, continuously learning and experimenting with new techniques and software to enhance video quality.
  • Share your expertise and insights with the wider editing team and other functions.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience as a video editor, particularly with multicam editing, supported by a professional portfolio showcasing work for social media and YouTube.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and a solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and export standards.
  • Strong grasp of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to innovate and enhance video content.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, including effective file management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment while embodying our company culture and values.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, often requiring flexibility beyond standard working hours.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • A genuine interest in AI and its potential to optimize editing processes.
  • Experience in audio editing.
