Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team at E3 Recruitment, specializing in the highways sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful bidding and execution of various infrastructure projects across the nation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging in negotiations to secure contracts
  • Building and nurturing relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Overseeing the preparation and submission of pricing documentation in compliance with internal protocols
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, ensuring competitive tenders are prepared
  • Conducting thorough pre-contract reviews to assess risks and opportunities
  • Analyzing subcontractor and supplier quotes for tender submissions
  • Formulating bid strategies based on market research and trends

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Technical expertise in the highways sector
  • Proven experience in pricing tenders for local authorities and large-scale projects
  • Strong relationship-building skills with various stakeholders
  • Excellent commercial awareness and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated negotiation and sales skills
  • Familiarity with NEC 3 and 4 contract forms
  • Experience with Causeway 3 Estimating software is advantageous
