About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Financial Accountant to join our team at Wade Macdonald. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in developing financial and production accounting processes, ensuring best practices across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Accounts Assistant to ensure accurate and timely ledger entries.
  • Process purchase orders and supplier invoices using Xero, Zudello, and Cin7Core.
  • Maintain and report on Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and internal audit controls.
  • Oversee monthly and year-end account closure processes.
  • Ensure accurate stock reporting and inter-company transactions.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable, credit checks, and payment processing.
  • Collaborate on cashflow forecasting and budgetary controls.
  • Support payroll accounting and provide decision support to the management team.
About the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a part-qualified or qualified by experience accountant with proficiency in Xero and Cin7Core, intermediate Excel skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You should be well-organised, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical abilities. Own transport is required due to the rural location.
