Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Nationwide Specialist Services. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of group customers, ensuring timely payment of invoices, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Vetting: Conduct thorough credit checks on new business opportunities to assess creditworthiness and generate Sage accounts.
- Debt Recovery: Proactively chase debts across two divisions via telephone and email, ensuring timely payment of invoices.
- Statement Issuance: Generate and issue statements to customers, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
- Complex Query Resolution: Resolve complex queries and disputes with customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records on the Credit Control system, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Cash Allocation: Post all cash to the sales ledger and accurately allocate on a daily basis.
- Account Reconciliations: Perform weekly and monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Credit Control Manager on account performance and any issues.
- Liaison: Liaise with internal and external contacts to resolve queries and issues.
