Lead Civil Asset Engineer

Carrington West is seeking a highly skilled Lead Civil Asset Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of design assurance for complex projects in the defence sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage contractor engineering support to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Support project optioneering processes and review project drawings and documentation.
  • Carry out technical assessments and approvals of contractors' work instructions, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Provide technical supervision of construction and deconstruction activities to ensure compliance with design intent.
  • Liaise with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Experience in civil engineering for complex projects.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement throughout the engineering lifecycle.
  • Experience in a defence sector.
  • Experience in engineering lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrable suitable qualifications and experience relating to marine and mechanical engineering.
