Dynamic and Thriving Law Firm Seeks Experienced Childcare Solicitor

The Ten Percent Group, a leading law firm based in Somerset, is looking for a skilled Childcare Solicitor to join their team. This is a permanent full-time role with the opportunity for hybrid working for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling a caseload of publicly funded childcare law matters, including care proceedings
  • Providing supervision and guidance to junior members of the team
  • Conducting client meetings and liaising with clients and relevant parties to keep everyone updated
  • Full case preparation and advocacy in the County and Family Proceedings Court
Required Skills and Experience:
  • At least 2 years of relevant childcare law experience, including advocacy
  • Clean, valid practicing certificate
  • Proven expertise in dealing with care proceedings and publicly funded childcare matters
  • Solid knowledge of legal aid and SRA regulations
  • Ideally, Children's Panel Membership
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to deal with vulnerable individuals
  • Demonstrable team working skills and excellent organisational skills
