About the Role

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical software engineer to join our team at Arm Limited. As a Performance Optimization Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the best possible performance of our Machine Learning software, systems, and IP.

The successful candidate will be highly flexible, quick to learn, and motivated by the opportunity to understand and improve the performance of future Machine Learning solutions using Arm technology.

Responsibilities:

As a member of our ML System Analysis team, you will conduct in-depth performance analysis investigations to gain valuable insights and influence the direction of our Machine Learning software. You will work closely with specialists across the company, including software and systems teams, to understand, explore, and challenge the limits of performance capabilities.

You will utilize advanced pre-silicon platforms of next-generation systems to understand new use-cases and significant workloads, ensuring that Arm IP and systems deliver exceptional ML performance.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with software development in languages such as Python, C, and C++
  • A passion for analysis and improvement
  • Strong communication skills, inter-cultural awareness, and a commitment to diversity
  • Ability to distill and pick out key findings from large amounts of data

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with pre-silicon platforms such as models, RTL simulation, emulation, or FPGA
  • Data analysis and visualization, for example, Jupyter Notebooks
