As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for supporting our clients with front-end development processes, analyzing EPCM contractors' cost and commercial submissions, and providing cost input to our clients' project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Client Project Director with Front-End Development Process: Collaborate with our clients' project directors to develop commercial strategies and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Interrogate and Analyze EPCM Contractors' Cost and Commercial Submissions: Review and analyze cost and commercial submissions from EPCM contractors to ensure accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
  • Provide Cost Input to Client Project Teams: Offer expert cost advice to our clients' project teams, ensuring that they have the necessary information to make informed decisions.
  • Lead Cost Reviews and Meetings with Contractors: Conduct cost reviews and meetings with contractors to ensure that our clients' interests are represented and that costs are accurately reported.
  • Review and Analyze Cost Elements: Review and analyze cost elements, including people costs, EPCM contractor costs, major equipment costs, bulk materials, and subcontractor costs.
  • Ensure Change Management Process is Followed: Ensure that the change management process is followed by all parties, ensuring that changes are properly documented and approved.

Requirements:

  • 10+ Years of Experience in Commercial Roles: You must have at least 10 years of experience in commercial roles, including 5+ years in a senior commercial role on major capital projects.
  • Experience with EPC or EPCM Contracts: You must have experience with EPC or EPCM contracts, either as a client or contractor.
  • Knowledge of ICHEME Form of Contract: Ideally, you should have working knowledge of the ICHEME form of contract.
  • Strong Commercial Background: You must have a strong commercial background, ideally client-side.
