Job Title: Senior Event Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Event Manager to join our dynamic team at BCD Travel. As a Senior Event Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of high-quality events, managing client relationships, and driving financial growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of events, meetings, and site inspections, ensuring that due process is followed and department operating procedures are adhered to.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and consulting with them on their requirements and recommendations.
  • Take financial responsibility for events, including managing budgets and driving revenue growth.
  • Travel regularly within the UK and internationally to support events and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Event Directors and sales teams to identify new business opportunities and develop existing accounts.
  • Lead teams pre-event and onsite, including suppliers, colleagues, and freelance staff.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the event industry, specifically in the delivery of large-scale complex events.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Financial management skills, with the ability to manage budgets and drive revenue growth.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the UK and internationally.

Working Arrangements:

This is a hybrid role that requires 1-2 days a week in either the Derby, Fleet, or Milton Keynes office. You must have the ability and want to travel in the UK and overseas.
