Position Overview:
Our client, a prominent and reputable organization, is in search of a seasoned Risk Management Specialist. This role involves the establishment and upkeep of a comprehensive risk management framework. You will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate, execute, and sustain risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to identify, assess, and report on potential risks facing the organization.
- Collaborate in the development and maintenance of risk management frameworks that align with local regulatory mandates, corporate requirements, and industry best practices.
- Continuously monitor key risk indicators and performance metrics to proactively identify emerging risks, while ensuring timely escalation and reporting of any discrepancies from established risk thresholds.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to maintain the Company risk register, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities across various business functions.
- Oversee the implementation of an annual risk-based monitoring program, ensuring timely completion of quarterly risk controls and formulating action plans to address any deficiencies identified during testing.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of first-level controls executed by the business, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and recommend corrective measures as necessary.
- Maintain an up-to-date business continuity plan and coordinate testing activities at least biannually.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Risk Management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Adept at multitasking.
