About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Unit team at East Lancashire Hospice. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and evaluate effective care programs for patients, ensuring their needs and choices are met.
- Deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to legislation and best practice guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Prioritize workload and direct others as necessary to meet patient needs.
- Maintain accurate and clear documentation, adhering to professional standards and guidance.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to discussions regarding patient care.
- Provide opportunities for patients and relatives to discuss care and raise concerns.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times and information is used only for authorized purposes.
Person Specification
We are looking for a registered nurse with substantial experience in caring for patients with life-limiting illnesses. You will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
