Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Cognus Limited. As a specialist in paediatric speech and language therapy, you will have the opportunity to work with children and young people with complex needs, providing expert advice and support to schools and educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualised therapy plans for children and young people with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN)
  • Provide specialist advice and support to schools and educational settings on the education of children and young people with SLCN
  • Collaborate with a range of partner agencies to create effective transition support for children and young people
  • Monitor and record child or young person's progress and effectiveness of intervention
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings as required
Requirements
  • Registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and a member of The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
  • Experience as a paediatric speech and language therapist
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver results to high standards
  • Decisive with problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and protection of children
