About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and ordained or suitably qualified lay person to join our team as a Rastafarian Chaplain at HMP Dovegate. As a key member of our multi-faith team, you will be responsible for providing spiritual care and support to prisoners and staff within the faith tradition, as well as pastoral care to all individuals regardless of their faith or background.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver faith and non-faith-based courses and programs to meet the needs of prisoners and staff.
- Engage with and build relationships with the Rastafarian community to provide support and guidance.
- Travel to other prisons within the Serco network to provide spiritual care and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of Prison Service Specifications and contribute to the assurance process.
