We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Spa Therapist to join our team at No.1 by GuestHouse, York. As a Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional spa treatments to our guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring that every guest leaves feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide bespoke spa treatments to the highest standard, including massage, facials, and other holistic therapies
  • Build strong relationships with guests, understanding their needs and preferences to create a personalized experience
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest spa trends and techniques
  • Contribute to the overall success of the spa team, working collaboratively to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Spa Therapies, with Level 4 or 5 highly desirable
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a spa environment
  • Qualification in Deep Tissue Massage, with other modalities such as Akwaterra, Pregnancy Massage, and Reflexology an advantage
  • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Computer literacy and ability to use spa software
  • Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts, with a degree of flexibility required
