Nursery Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team at our modern nursery in Barking, Essex. Our nursery is conveniently located near public transportation and offers a range of amenities for our staff and children.

About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare and education to our children. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters learning and development. Your expertise will help us deliver a fun and imaginative curriculum that meets the needs of our children.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that promote cognitive, physical, and social development in children.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and other family members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas of improvement and tailoring teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain a culture of self-evaluation and self-development to promote continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
  • Level 3 or above recognized childcare qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation of knowledge in early childhood education and development.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery setting, with a focus on creating a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with children, their families, and other staff members effectively.
  • Knowledge of pediatric health, safety, and emergency procedures to ensure the well-being and security of children in the nursery.
