Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Financial Oversight: Formulate and manage comprehensive financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts along with necessary reconciliations.
  • Conduct regular reviews of control account reconciliations to facilitate year-end accounting processes.
  • Analyze profit and loss statements to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Supervise bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Oversee the completion and management of sales and purchase ledgers, providing necessary authorizations.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements, offering support during the annual audit to ensure timely completion.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate precise and timely financial reports, statements, and analyses.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and address financial risks to uphold company stability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor the finance team to meet departmental objectives.
  • Expense Management: Oversee and regulate company expenditures and financial performance.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a Finance Manager or equivalent position.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; ACA/AAT certification preferred.
  • Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with financial software and the MS Office Suite.
  • Detail Orientation: High level of precision and attention to detail.
