Job Description

Job Title: PE Teacher

Job Type: Full-time, Long-term

Location: RCT Area

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in the RCT area. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physical Education to students in Key Stage 3 and 4, as well as delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a classroom of learners and engage them with both classroom and lab-based activities
  • Prepare the classroom for lessons and plan schemes of work where required
  • Deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum and work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in teaching Physical Education
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council)
  • References covering the last two years
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
