Work Hours: Flexible, as reserves substitute for absent permanent personnel and are compensated for hours worked

Annual Work Weeks: 38

It is important to note that the policy of Midlothian Council dictates that successful candidates will be appointed at the initial point of the salary scale.

The minimum salary for this role is £13.11 per hour.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

This position is classified as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. Therefore, it is unlawful to apply if you are prohibited from working with minors.
Successful applicants will need to obtain PVG Scheme membership for Regulated Work with Children. You will be required to enroll in the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before starting employment with Midlothian Council, the cost of which will be your responsibility.
