Senior Manager, Accounting – Accounting Services– Southampton

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Accounting Services team in Southampton. As a key member of our Gen II team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of world-class financial reporting services to our real estate funds clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of accounting professionals to ensure timely and accurate production of financial reports
  • Develop and implement financial management strategies to drive business performance and efficiency
  • Liaise with auditors and clients to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Lead project management initiatives to improve financial processes and systems
  • Coach and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Recognized accounting qualification (ACCA or ACA)
  • Sound academic background and 10 years' experience in real estate or fund accounting
  • Comprehensive understanding of local finance industry legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
