Spinwell Global Limited is seeking an Environmental Compliance Team Leader for a significant role within the public sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE Environmental Compliance Team Leader
- Supervise the daily functions of the Environmental Compliance Team, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and legal standards.
- Manage statutory responsibilities including nuisance investigations, pollution management, air quality assessments, and contaminated land oversight.
- Foster a high-performing, client-oriented team environment through effective leadership and inter-departmental collaboration.
- Offer expert advice on environmental health issues and represent the organization in various discussions and meetings.
1. Actively promote the accomplishments and values of the organization within your department and beyond.
2.
Ensure full compliance with all legal obligations related to your department, including Health and Safety, Data Protection, and Freedom of Information.
3.Guarantee that your department adheres to the organization's Data Quality Policy regarding all relevant data.
4.Engage in the formal risk management process and manage risks associated with your role, reporting any concerns to your supervisor.
5.Proactively pursue personal and professional development, enhancing your knowledge and skills as agreed upon annually through the organization's Performance Appraisal Scheme.
6.Ensure that the principles of equal opportunity are fully integrated and actively pursued within all areas of the organization's service delivery and employment practices.
