Scenic Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Scenic Supervisor to join our team at Uxbridge Employment Agency. As a Scenic Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing scenic projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise daily operations within the scenic department, ensuring smooth workflows and high-quality output.
- Foster collaboration between departments and promote a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Provide training, development, and guidance to team members, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
- Ensure all prepared jobs are ready for dispatch on schedule, meeting customer expectations.
- Design and create scenic items based on client specifications, ensuring timely delivery of all projects.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock efficiently to meet demand.
- Oversee quality control and repair standards, ensuring all scenic items are maintained to the highest standards.
- Provide quotes for jobs/events and ensure all paperwork, including purchase orders and invoices, are processed correctly.
- Strong knowledge of scenic construction, with good spatial awareness.
- Experience using drawing programmes and planning tools (Vectorworks/CAD) is advantageous.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a similar role is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with strong leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of EasyJob is an advantage.
- Competitive salary between £35,000 - £42,000.
