Red sky are Coordinating with a world leading event technology and service provider who are actively seeking an applicant with a strong back ground in management, construction and spatial awareness to support their team as a Scenic Workshop Supervisor. You’ll be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing the scenic projects for their business. Working directly with technical events managers & Project managers to understand the brief and offer support with guidance based on your experience. The Scenic Workshop Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance on all warehouse/scenery policies, maintaining daily workspace standards, and successful completion of all daily tasks. This position will supervise the outbound/inbound functions, support team member development and adequate staffing levels related to business needs.

**Team Leadership and Development**
- Directly supervise all day-to-day operations within the scenic department workshop and other Scenic areas.
- Cultivate good working relationships between departments.

- Increase operational effectiveness by managing direct reports and communicating values, strategies, and objectives aligned with organisational goals.
- Assist in evaluating the team’s efficiency and productivity using standards and KPI’s.

- Do the Right Thing by ensuring all safety practices and policies are being followed.
- Main point of contact for employees/freelancers on a day-to-day basis to ensure expectations and requirements are fulfilled.
- Ensure all prepared jobs are ready for dispatch on schedule.

**Scenic Delivery**
- Drive Results by ensuring daily tasks are completed on time.
- Design and create scenic items according to client specification.
- Ensure the relevant paperwork i.e. delivery / collection notes, requests etc are processed accordingly
- Monitor inventory levels to maximise availability and utilisation for high demand products.
- Ensures high-accuracy physical inventory results and quality control and repair standards.
- Maintain scenic department in a neat and organised state.
- Quoting for jobs/events and ensuring that purchase orders and invoices are raised accordingly.
- Assist with planning the booking for the workshop set builders and coverers.

**Customer Service**
- Deliver World Class Service by working closely with internal customers to evaluate service levels and ensure all expectations are met.
- Ensure the highest standards of service while maintaining operation efficiency and a cohesive relationship with other departments.
- Liaising with the T.E. M’S and P.M’s where necessary to source all relevant scenic details (in particular identifying exceptional requirements).
- Attend meetings and site visits when required.

**Job Qualifications**
- Sound knowledge of construction and good spatial awareness
- Knowledge of drawing programmes and planning tools (Vectorworks/CAD)would be an advantage
- EasyJob knowledge is an advantage
- Previous supervisory/ management experience is essential
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet or exceed multiple concurrent deadlines.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
