Job Title: SEND Learning Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEND Learning Support Worker to join our team at a large special school in the Devizes area.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide general classroom support and 1-1 support where required, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general classroom support and 1-1 support to students with complex needs
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of lesson plans and activities
  • Support students with communication, social, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
Requirements

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
