About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to join our team at Hoare Lea. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for leading electrical services design on large projects and overseeing overall MEP on small to medium-sized projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical services design on large projects, ensuring high-quality outputs and meeting project deadlines.
  • Oversee overall MEP on small to medium-sized projects, managing project teams and prioritizing workload.
  • Represent Hoare Lea at project meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage project expenditure and report to Project leaders, ensuring financial transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure quality standards and technical accuracy are delivered, contributing to the professional development of individual team members.
  • Actively lead self and identify opportunities for career development, providing support for team members and promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
Requirements
  • Excellent technical knowledge in Electrical Design Engineering, with a thorough understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience in managing project teams and prioritizing workload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent Hoare Lea at project meetings and ensure effective collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical issues and ensure quality standards are met.
