Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Barrow in Furness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply proven techniques and procedures to design and develop electrical solutions.
  • Resolve design issues and problems for a range of electrical design situations.
  • Diagnose and resolve operational, repair, installation and commissioning problems and issues.
  • Work with a degree of technical autonomy, demonstrating a commitment to professional design engineering principles and values.
  • Require knowledge and experience in electrical design subject areas.
  • Schedule own work to meet target time scales and budget demands.
  • Develop technical skills including monitoring NVQs and product comprehension.
  • Provide and produce calculations as required to justify a proposed course of action.
  • Develop and produce models, drawings and other design outputs consistent with the contractual requirements to meet target dates and budget demands.

SC clearance is required for this role. We can only accept applications from sole British citizens with no dual nationality due to the nature of this defence project.
