Audio Visual Operations Supervisor

London salary up to £60,000

The Audio Visual Operations Supervisor will primarily oversee activities at various venues. This role is essential within a prominent global audio-visual integration firm, delivering AV and event solutions across numerous client collaborations worldwide. We are seeking a seasoned Operations Supervisor to join our London team, responsible for ensuring that all operations at client venues are executed in accordance with established service level agreements. They serve as the primary representative of the organization to the client, with a key objective of meeting the client's expectations during their events.

Team Leadership

Direct oversight of onsite technicians and temporary staff Service Enhancements – collaborate with the Operations Team to identify areas for improvement Incident Oversight – manage the lifecycle of incidents in line with client protocols Professionalism – foster an organized and professional atmosphere where the team is guided to meet and exceed client expectations Performance Oversight – conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members, implementing performance improvement plans as necessary Staff Development – assess skills, identify training needs Daily task management and resource allocation

Administrative Responsibilities

Daily & Weekly Operations Meetings – discussing staffing needs, technical requirements, venue status, AV costs Staff scheduling and leave requests Service Requests - act as the decision-maker for service requests at respective venues Maintenance – ensure regular checks are conducted by technicians in accordance with existing protocols Service Issues – in case of service disruptions, the supervisor is responsible for initiating and resolving tickets related to the issue, engaging the service team for repairs if necessary, and escalating unresolved matters Client Liaison – maintain communication with clients, providing updates, feedback, and operational insights Financial Oversight – prepare monthly billing reports, manage purchases, and oversee overtime Equipment Inventory & Management Weekly Event Scheduling – forecasting staffing, hiring, and technical needs Reporting Metrics - ensure all operational, financial, and performance reports are delivered to the client and senior management through regular reviews and ad-hoc requests
