Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technical Advisor to join our team at Focus Resourcing Limited. As an Electrical Technical Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and guidance to customers and colleagues, ensuring the correct application and operation of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and advice to customers and colleagues on electrical systems, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Support customers and service engineers in resolving product and system-related technical enquiries and warranty claims.
  • Make accurate diagnoses of technical queries relating to warranty claims, product installations, and commissioning.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of electrical systems, including electrical, mechanical applications, and controls systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and resolution of technical issues.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including electrical, mechanical applications, and controls systems.
  • Diagnostic and problem-solving experience in a technical environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes.
  • Computer literate and proficient in using technical software and tools.
  • Qualifications: HND/Degree standard or equivalent experience within a technical after-sales environment, electrical/mechanical, engineering, or related industry.
