Job Summary

Hampshire County Council is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Security Specialist to join our Infrastructure Operations Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and guiding on security incidents, projects, and escalations, as well as overseeing security oversight for new or updated services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and guide on security incidents, projects, and escalations.
  2. Plan and lead responses to cyber security incidents.
  3. Oversee security oversight for new or updated services as projects transition their deliverables into BAU operations.
  4. Manage and analyse data to provide insights.
  5. Monitor and ensure teams meet cyber security standards.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of cyber-security architectures, technologies, and best practices, as well as experience with penetration testing data and Security Event Management. They will also have the ability to identify data patterns and trends, and a good understanding of IT systems and cyber threats.
