Midwife Leader for Triage and Day Assessment Unit Services

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced midwife to lead our Triage and Day Assessment Unit services. As a clinical leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to pregnant women and their families, while also providing leadership and guidance to our midwifery and nursing teams.
Main Responsibilities- Implement and maintain the implementation of BSOTS, ensuring compliance with trust policies and protocols.
- Lead on the Ambulatory Care Forums, working closely with the Consultant lead for Triage to develop and implement pathways for service improvement.
- Manage the use of the triage recording system to facilitate service user feedback and complaint processes.
- Effectively manage staff contracted hours, sickness, absence, and training through electronic rostering systems.
- Promote a clean and safe environment for staff, service users, and visitors, ensuring compliance with health and safety, infection prevention, and clinical governance policies.

Person Specification- Registered Midwife with a relevant health-related degree.
- Teaching qualification and experience.

- Evidence of recent relevant professional development.
