We are in search of a proactive insurance expert to join our team of underwriting specialists. We are also open to candidates who may have less experience in underwriting but possess a strong desire to learn. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in achieving excellent outcomes for our clients and insurers by providing high-quality and efficient insurer services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Underwriting team in fostering and enhancing successful, trusting relationships with our panel of insurers.
  • Address underwriting inquiries from our insurers and clients.
  • Spearhead the development of clear and concise requirements for our development teams to create new insurance products.
  • Take the lead in generating management information and insurer reports, identifying key focus areas as necessary.
  • Oversee the implementation of underwriting governance and regulatory activities.
  • Actively participate in insurer meetings, managing and executing actions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver results independently and punctually.
  • Capacity to build trusting relationships with colleagues and partners.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Logical and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in Personal Lines Insurance is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, including Excel/Sheets and Word/Docs.
  • Familiarity with MI/Analysis tools is advantageous (e.g., Power BI, Excel Pivot Tables).
