Job Title: Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to newborns and their families.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced health assessments, planning and transferring neonates to the appropriate unit, and managing babies requiring respiratory support. You will also be expected to facilitate education and training for nursing and midwifery staff, medical staff, parents, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advanced health assessments and planning for neonates
  • Transfer of neonates to the appropriate unit
  • Management of babies requiring respiratory support
  • Education and training for staff and parents
  • Prescription of medications for neonates as a non-medical prescriber
Requirements
  • RN/RM/RSCN qualification
  • A19/MSc Health Sciences or equivalent
  • ENB405/904 or equivalent
  • Full NMC registration
  • Non-medical prescriber registration
