Job Title: Control Systems Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Executive Network Group. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and programming turnkey automation and robotic assembly systems for manufacturing clients throughout Europe.

As a member of our senior technical team, you will be instrumental in the growth and expansion of our business, working closely with our clients to deliver successful projects from initial specification to commissioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and program industrial control systems, PLC, and HMI programming for robot production cells
  • Support specification and tendering for new projects
  • Supervise installation, commissioning, and FAT/buy-off at customer facilities
  • Provide technical support to resolve electrical and automation failures or build issues

Requirements:

  • BSc/HNC Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Expert knowledge of PLC automation and associated low-level industrial control systems
  • Experience designing and optimizing turnkey industrial automation projects in automotive or similar high-volume manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and industrial communication networks
  • Good appreciation of electrical circuitry and safety standards
  • Proven structured problem-solving methods and experience of process change management
