The Project: Our client, a prominent global banking institution, operates Corporate Real Estate (CRE) functions across over 60 countries, managing approximately 270 office buildings and 2,500 branches. Their goal for the CRE function is to serve as trusted advisors to their global operations, balancing service, cost, and risk. They aim to achieve this by collaborating with key strategic industry partners to introduce innovation and new practices in their workplaces. Mace is one of these strategic partners, tasked with establishing an Independent Project Management Office (IPMO).

Role Overview: This position is integrated within the client organization, requiring in-office attendance three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and leverage relationships with internal functions and stakeholders, such as IT and marketing.
  • Develop a comprehensive communications strategy and an annual communications plan in collaboration with the client.
  • Align the communications plan with Managed Delivery Partners (MDP).
  • Facilitate the dissemination of communications, including project design successes and best practices.
  • Encourage collaboration across the team by hosting workshops, presenting at knowledge-sharing sessions, and contributing to team meetings.
  • Collaborate with the video and photography team to ensure key content is captured effectively.
  • Conduct research to provide relevant insights and analysis, staying updated on market developments and sharing knowledge with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives or significant business enhancements.
  • Utilize the communications dashboard data to strengthen stakeholder relationships.
  • Work collaboratively towards achieving net-zero carbon transition goals, managing and communicating associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the professional services and/or building/property sectors.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in crafting and executing communications strategies.
  • Proven ability in the tactical management and delegation of communications activities.
  • Exemplary behaviors: Collaborative, Curious, Contributor, and Champion.
  • An international perspective.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Requirements:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent.
