Healthcare Assistant - Division of Medicine

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic team within the Division of Medicine. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality patient care under the guidance of Registered Nurses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide essential support to Registered Nurses in delivering comprehensive patient care.
  • Actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient needs and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels of medical supplies within the ward or department.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as transporting specimens and collecting instruments/drugs.
  • Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
  • Contribute to a cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
  • Adhere to all Trust policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
