Pertemps Cardiff is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laboratory Support Assistant to join our team. As a Laboratory Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register and process samples for analysis, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Manage and dispatch samples to external laboratories, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, including sample containers and consumables.
- Support the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Provide administrative support to the laboratory team, including data entry and document management.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
- Maths and English Language GCSEs.
Working Environment:
