Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical pharmacy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage clinical pharmacy services in our Care Group, working closely with the Principal Pharmacist to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Act as a specialist role model and expert in medical management, providing guidance and support to pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure a high level of clinical pharmacy input to patient care, providing interface and discharge liaison and support as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds, delivering and promoting high-quality, cost-effective, patient-focused pharmaceutical care.
  • Supervise and train pharmacy staff at ward level, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals within and outside the Trust, sharing your expertise and knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • MPharm degree
  • Registered pharmacist
  • Postgraduate diploma or equivalent
  • Experience of multidisciplinary team working
