Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Government Facility Services Ltd. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including circuit breakers, electrical panels, and wiring.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify potential electrical hazards and take corrective action.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of facilities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff members.

Requirements

  • Two years' experience working in a role as an electrician.
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems.
  • Good working knowledge of planned preventive maintenance operations.
  • Electrician qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
  • 17th or 18th Edition.
  • Certificate in BS7671.
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
