The Position

As a Solutions Consultant at Davies Technology Solutions (DTS), you will be integral to the technical execution of client projects. Your responsibilities will include customizing and configuring solutions, producing technical documentation, and providing client support to ensure successful implementation and satisfaction.

This role requires collaboration with the broader team to improve development processes, uphold quality standards, and address project risks. You will have the chance to foster a positive team environment while assisting clients in utilizing our solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customize and configure product offerings to align with client specifications.
  • Oversee the technical delivery of essential components within larger client projects, as well as smaller, complete client solutions.
  • Create high-quality technical documentation to support subsequent activities, ensuring clarity and thorough guidance.
  • Work with the team to provide prompt support to existing clients utilizing Worksmart solutions.
  • Assist project teams in delivering superior client solutions in coordination with colleagues.
  • Evaluate and communicate progress on assigned tasks based on 'Earned Value' principles, ensuring project milestones are achieved.
  • Identify and escalate potential project risks and issues early in the project lifecycle to prevent disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures throughout the implementation process.
  • Collaborate with clients and the implementation team to design and estimate technical solutions that meet client needs.
  • Participate in client workshops to gather high-quality technical and business requirements.
  • Provide training on products to small, focused client groups to enhance their understanding and use of the solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proficient working knowledge of SQL is essential.
  • Experience with SSRS reporting, JSON, and JavaScript.
  • Ability to utilize API calls for seamless data exchange between systems, prioritizing client requirements in solution design.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and ensure client objectives are met efficiently.
  • Maintain professionalism and organizational skills in client interactions, fostering reliability and trust.
  • Meet deadlines and deliver results that exceed client expectations.
  • Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, advocating for client interests and ensuring exceptional service.
  • Skilled in conducting face-to-face client workshops to engage and collaborate with clients in gathering high-quality requirements.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary, committed to providing on-site support and building in-person client relationships.
