Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, United Kingdom Hywel Dda University Health Board Full time

Position Overview

The Musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy division is presenting an opportunity for a full-time, permanent physiotherapy role at Band 6 level.

This service encompasses a wide geographical area, providing care across multiple counties. The positions are available in various locations within the health board.

The MSK service includes therapeutic hydrotherapy, structured exercise classes, and the implementation of specialized programs aimed at managing patients with osteoarthritis affecting the hip and knee. The individual will manage their own patient caseload, which includes self-referrals as well as referrals from general practitioners, allied health professionals, social services, and specialists. Operating as an independent practitioner, the candidate will utilize advanced clinical skills and evidence-based practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient management strategies.

Continuous professional development is essential, and the candidate will be involved in the education and supervision of junior staff and students.
