We are seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to join our Central Operations Team at Roke Manor Research Limited. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in driving operational effectiveness and efficiency across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Actionable Insights: Analyze productivity performance against operational KPIs and provide critical insights to support business decision-making.
- Capacity Planning: Undertake gap analysis for skills and FTE, ensuring the business has the necessary resources to meet its objectives.
- Operational Management: Support the Roke Business Operations Forum and the Roke Operating Board, driving proactive operational management and challenging the business to improve.
- Data Analysis: Work closely with the Business Information Services team to ensure a consistent understanding of underlying methods, data architecture, and assumptions regarding productivity reporting.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare relevant resourcing reports, analyze for inconsistencies, and drive up data fidelity.
- Trend Analysis: Present trend analysis and propose possible courses of action to support sustainable and profitable growth.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with BU Operations Managers and PMOs.
- Transformation Support: Support the ongoing transformation of the team function, including helping to drive adoption of new processes and tools.
- Relevant Experience: Relevant analytical experience in a professional services/consultancy Business Operations team.
- Business Acumen: A deep understanding of professional services/consultancy business models and their relationship to productivity.
- Adaptability: The ability to quickly assimilate business structure, taxonomy, processes, and key personalities, with proactive stakeholder management being a key aspect.
- Technical Skills: Experience of working with SAP, IFS, PowerBI, and resourcing technology such as Profinda, Retain, Kantata, or similar. Experience of Qliksense would be desirable.
- Communication Skills: Confident communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Organizational Skills: Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask, plan, and prioritize workload.
- Attitude and Approach: A positive attitude and a 'can-do' approach to the position, with proven ability to work autonomously.
- Attention to Detail: Thoroughness, accuracy, and focus, with the ability to pay close attention to detail and produce high-quality work.
