The Asset Manager – Operations will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting our properties, ensuring a strategic approach to maximize performance across our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Real Estate & Asset Management, the Asset Manager - Operations will:

  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of properties, engaging regularly with senior leadership and hotel teams as necessary.
  • Identify and assess Real Estate Investment opportunities, ensuring effective implementation.
  • Stay informed about market dynamics to develop a comprehensive understanding of each hotel and its competitive landscape.
  • Assist the property department with refurbishment and investment initiatives by providing analytical insights and return on investment forecasts.
  • Ensure that all properties are maintained to uphold asset value and brand integrity.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in Regional Operations Management within the Hospitality sector.
  • Background in managing large city center hotel properties (1000+ rooms) with MICE exposure.
  • Prior experience with 4-star or higher brands.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, and revenue management.
  • In-depth understanding of hotel market dynamics and performance metrics.
  • Solid knowledge of capital expenditures and property enhancements.
  • Exceptional ability to balance priorities and perspectives among hotel operations, brand positioning, and ownership interests.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe.
  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or finance is desirable.
  • Previous experience in Asset Management is advantageous.
