Job Summary

Lidl is seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Shift Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards, motivating your team, and ensuring the smooth running of the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Motivate and support your team to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks effectively
  • Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed and thrive
  • Manage operations within your store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
  • Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure shifts run smoothly
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience

Requirements

  • Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a busy retail environment
  • Ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team
  • Patience and a friendly manner with the ability to remain calm in any situation
  • Passion to thrive as a key part of the Store Team
  • Proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop themselves and store operations
