About the Role
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buying Assistant to join our team at The Very Group. As a Buying Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our buying function, ensuring seamless sample management, and maintaining our sample library.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the administration of buying activities, including sample management and inventory control.
- Provide administrative support to the buying team, ensuring efficient communication and data management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive category growth and profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of category strategies and plans.
About You
- Previous experience in buying or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
- A great interest in fashion/kidswear is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Proficient in Excel and other relevant software tools.
