About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Integrity Specialist to join our team at DMW Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our piping and pipeline assets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Expertise in Piping and Pipeline Integrity: Develop and implement best practices in non-destructive testing and visual inspection to identify and mitigate risks to safe operation.
  2. Develop Inspection Standards and Programmes: Create piping and pipeline inspection standards and scopes of work that implement best practices in non-destructive testing and visual inspection.
  3. Asset Integrity Management: Develop and implement piping and pipeline inspection programmes, fit for purpose assessments, and repair and upgrade strategies to foster a risk-based and proactive approach to asset integrity management.
  4. Asset Register Maintenance: Ensure asset registers are maintained as-built and up-to-date.
  5. Technical Support and Leadership: Provide technical support, leadership, and guidance to projects, operations, and maintenance teams.
  6. Risk-Based Inspection Programme: Implement a risk-based inspection programme for piping, pipeline, and structural assets.
  7. Contractor Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of inspection contractors.
  8. Repair and Maintenance: Specify and prioritize repairs, define repair quality requirements, review repair procedures, and post-repair inspection reports.
  9. Technical Bid Evaluations: Conduct technical bid evaluations on inspection and repair contractor proposals.
  10. Documentation and Reporting: Ensure inspections, defects, and repairs are documented in the CMMS.
  11. Emergency Pipeline Repair Equipment: Ensure emergency pipeline repair equipment is held fit for purpose and contracts are in place for installation and testing of repairs.
  12. Qualifications and Experience: Possess a Mechanical Engineering qualification and NDT qualifications, with experience managing piping inspection works on COMAH sites and cross-country pipelines, preferably in the bulk liquid storage sector.
  13. Knowledge and Skills: Have knowledge and skills covering hydrocarbon and chemical storage, process safety.
